McDonald's Characters

I know the beginning of this song by heart and can rattle it off to you upon command:
Big Mac, McDLT, a Quarter Pounder with some cheese, Filet O Fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a Happy Meal, McNuggets, tasty golden french fries- regular and larger sizes....I love McDonalds good time great taste and I get this all at one place.

Here is the link on youtube if you have any interest in hearing the tune:

So today we investigate the stylings of the McDonald's characters.

May I just add before we begin, that my favorite McDonald's playground structure was always the Officer Big Mac climber thingee. I particularly liked to reach out and grab the pickle on the side. You can just see it sticking out in the picture here. They don't really have old Officer Big Mac anymore...all the things my kids will go without. I just don't know what to think about it.

Casie and Victoria's looks:

*two hamburglers cannot exist together long without a fight over a hamburger (or an easy button as the case may be).

Yet another of my office mates did not realize she was playing until she got to work and I informed her that she would be participating today. We are both the hamburgler.

on Casie:
dress- Target
shoes- Calvin Klein, DSW
pleather pants- TJ Maxx
headband- Dollar Tree

The Best Years Gals- My kids' teachers rock!

Jackie's look:

You can't forget the Fry Guys. They are a gang affiliated with like, the best fries in the universe. If ever there was a gang that made sense, it is this one. Spread fries, not violence.

Donna and Natalie's looks:

Donna is a Big Mac (notice the lettuce and cheese peeking out) and Natalie has decided to be the pickle :).

Jessica's look:

Ronald McDonald chic in effect. See Ronald rock it casual.

Chrissy and Rachelle:

Our two most excellent Hambuglers. You know, I feel the Hamburgler is really the most classic of the McDonald's gang- you can't go wrong with black and white.

Kim's look:

"Ah, McDonald's... I have a fondness for McDonalds, mainly because I worked on the McDonald's/Disney alliance for many years, but also because I'm a big fan of their product, including lately, the Carmel Frappacino. So today, I'm the Grimace, the purple fellow who is also a lover of frosty frozen drinks."

Cashmere sweater from my trip to Scotland, paired with an INC tank, and a Tiffany necklace that reminds me of the Grimace's beady little eyes! I'm joined today by my friend, Ronald!

Jillian's look:

"I have "vintage" McDonald's plates at home for my kids' meals (boy, those plates are practically indestructible!) so I went through the characters to be inspired. I also went with Grimace today - an homage to purple. I am wearing my inaugural pair of patterned tights, from H&M along with the dress and turtleneck. Boots are Corso Como and so comfy. Earrings by Stella & Dot."
*NOTE: We had these plates in my family when I was growing up. There was a CONSTANT battle over who got to eat off of the Spring plate. I really have no idea why...

Deborah's look: FIRST TIME PLAYER!!!

"My first photo submission! I am a burger fan, so it makes sense that I'd dress up as Hamburglar today."
